The Dancing Deer began in 2006 when I passed a stand of satin ribbons in an art supply store in down town Reykjavík. I got the idea to make necklaces inspired by the method used to make Friendshipbracelets. The endless colour combination possibilities and the beautiful texture still inspire me to tie knot after knot into various shapes and forms.
In the next few days all the tree animals I have been making will appear on this blog – Vespas, Caterpillars, Tree Serpents and more….. I will also be having a little boutique event very soon!
